Built around two intersecting loops, this lounge chair plays with proportion, negative space and the tension between sculptural structure and soft upholstery
Craft Type: Teak wood turning, sand-cast brass, textured upholstery
At first glance, the chair is all about its distinctive silhouette. Two continuous loops intersect to form an open, fluid frame, bringing together hand-sculpted teak from Jodhpur and solid cast brass from Moradabad. The teak is shaped using traditional wood-turning techniques, while the brass is sand-cast, giving the contrasting materials their own distinct character within the same design.
