THE GEOMETRIC ACCENT TABLE

Warm timber and brushed brass come together in this sculptural accent table, where an intricate base supports a simple circular top.

Craft Type: Hand-sculpted wood, wood-turning and joinery, cast brass

The table has an almost ribbon-like quality, with its solid wood base twisting and folding beneath a clean brass top. Hand-sculpted by Jodhpur woodworkers using traditional turning and joinery techniques, the timber is shaped to create the illusion of one continuous, interwoven form. Its rich earthy stain brings warmth to the otherwise graphic silhouette, while the open construction keeps the table from feeling too substantial.

Above it, a circular top in solid cast brass offers a quieter counterpoint. Made by Moradabad metal artisans, the brass is given a subtly brushed finish that catches the light with a soft sheen rather than a mirror-like gleam.

Together, the two materials strike a pleasing balance—organic and architectural, tactile and pared-back—making the table an easy companion to minimalist seating or a statement on its own. Measuring approximately 20.3 (W) X 20.3 (D) X 23.6 (H), the table combines a Moradabad cast brass top with a Jodhpur-sculpted wood base in a custom earthy stain. All sizes in inches.
