THE SCULPTURAL LUMINAIRE

Brushed brass meets softly translucent rose quartz in this architectural luminaire, bringing a warmer, more tactile quality to its clean geometric form.

Craft Type: Sand-cast brass, hand-grinding and welding, carved rose quartz

The structure is made from 14 individual sand-cast brass components, each welded and hand-ground by Moradabad metalworkers until the joins form a seamless, continuous frame. Its pared-back geometry gives the piece a strong architectural presence, but it is the rose quartz at its centre that changes the mood entirely.

Carved by semi-precious stone artisans in Jaipur, the rose quartz diffuser sits within the brass structure and gently filters the light through its naturally soft, translucent tones. Set against the subtly brushed, raw finish of the brass, it creates a pleasing contrast between the weight of the metal and the delicacy of the stone.

The effect is warm rather than showy, making the luminaire as suited to a bedroom as it is to a boutique hospitality space or a more atmospheric corner of a home. Measuring approximately 11.1 (W) X 8.6 (D) X 16.8 (H), the luminaire combines Moradabad cast brass with a Jaipur-crafted rose quartz diffuser. All sizes in inches.
