Craft Type: Sand-cast brass, hand-grinding and welding
There is a clever bit of craftsmanship hiding behind the table’s deceptively simple silhouette. More than 18 individually sand-cast brass elements are welded together by Moradabad metalworkers, then hand-ground and smoothed until the joints disappear into what looks like one continuous serpentine loop. The curved base leaves generous negative space beneath the tabletop, giving the solid brass structure an unexpectedly light presence.
