This product is made using handwoven cotton linen fabric in Delhi. Handweaving using handlooms is a traditional form of weaving textiles in India and continues to be a cherished practice across the country.
Linen yarn, spun from the fibres found in the flax plant, is known for its longevity. Considered amongst the strongest natural fibres, linen outlasts other fabrics, uses fewer resources and is kind to the environment. Handwoven cotton linen tends to become more supple and soft to the touch with use.
• Handwash or use a gentle machine cycle with mild detergent to protect the fibres.
• Dry on a clothesline. If using a machine dryer, set at the lowest temperature and remove when slightly damp to avoid the linen becoming stiff; then hang or lie flat to finish off the drying process.
• Press only on the reverse side. Use a medium-hot iron on the steam setting.
